OUR HISTORY

We'd like to welcome you to Diamond R Ranch, a family-owned facility located in the secluded Rocky Mountains of Montana. We're located in the Spotted Bear Ranger District of the Flathead National Forest, between the Bob Marshall Wilderness and Great Bear Wilderness Areas. We're surrounded by thousands of acres of pristine forest land that's abundant with wildlife and picturesque scenery.

We offer a variety of wilderness activities for your experience, such as: fishing, hunting, river floats, hiking and horseback trail riding. After spending the day in some of nature's most pristine forests, return to the lodge for a home-cooked, family-style meal. Following dinner, share your day's adventures around a blazing backcountry campfire. Or, relax on our viewing deck and take in the colorful sunset reflecting off the crystal clear waters of Spotted Bear River, flowing directly below on its way to join the fabled South Fork of the Flathead.

We offer customized, fully-guided fishing and hunting packages. Our log-style cabins offer unique floorplans that accommodate varying numbers of guests. We welcome couples, friends, families and large groups up to 12 people. We strive to provide an adventure-filled vacation with memories that will last a lifetime.
